THE PLANNING PROCESS
When you contact me (via the contact form or direct message on Instagram), we will first discuss any questions you have, or desires you have for your photoshoot. We'll then communicate on the general look you are interested in (urban, rustic, floral, etc.), which will be followed by specific location options and whether they require an additional charge.
Planning the date will come next. I AM FLEXIBLE! In the past, I've had to postpone and reschedule shoots due to excessive fog, rain, smoke, and sickness. Please let me know at least 24 hours in advance if you need to reschedule for personal reasons. Keep in mind that some locations have specific hours, and will not be available during certain days of the week.
I do not provide hair & makeup services; those must be utilized prior to our shoot.
I want you to get the smoothest yet most efficient experience possible. When we both arrive on location, we'll do brief introductions but I love to get shooting right away to maximize your shooting time! We'll get to know each other over the duration of your shoot!
Feel free to bring people with you! Whether it's your best friend, significant other, family, or pet, I love it when my clients have a close one tag along. I totally understand that getting your picture taken can feel awkward, and having a familiar face with you can definitely loosen you up.
"I don't really know how to pose", "I look awkward in pictures" are things I hear all the time. Don't worry, you're not the only one who feels this way.
I am here for more than just clicking a button. I will give you plenty of suggestions and tips on how to look your best in the photos that will last you a lifetime. In every shoot I've done, I've noticed that people become so much looser and more confident by the end of our time together. Many clients have voiced to me "that was a lot better than I expected" or "that was actually a lot of fun", two things I LOVE to hear. I want that you to have a good experience and are satisfied with the photos that come from it.
I require the agreed upon payment within 2 weeks from the session, and before I can deliver your gallery. Acceptable forms of payment include: Venmo, check made out to Molly Piszczek, or cash.
Clients often receive their galleries within a week of the shoot, but allow up to 2 weeks in case the sorting/editing process takes longer than expected. You will receive a link to an online gallery where you'll have the ability to download all of your photos to your computer or mobile device. Your gallery will be available for 1 year, giving you plenty of time to save them to your own devices. If you prefer the photos in the form of a USB drive, an additional $5.00 charge would be required.
It is assumed that when you shoot with me, you consent to having me share images of you both on my Instagram page @piszportraits, as well as my website. If you are uncomfortable with this, speak to me directly.
